Emma Espiner (Ngāti Tukorehe, Ngāti Porou) is an essayist and fifth year medical student at the University of Auckland. She comments on social issues, health and politics for Newsroom, appears on RNZ’s The Panel, Newshub’s The Hui and The Nation and is the host of the upcoming NZ on Air-funded podcast series on health equity for Māori “Getting Better.”
